Sewage Disposal

CCU has the perfect sewage treatment plant to deal with water resource and utilization. The sewage produced from campus has gone through activated sludge method process and reach the sewage emission standard of Environmental Protection Administration. The treated effluent does not only replenish the tranquil lake of the school but is also used for the cleaning of the sludge machine in the factory or watering flowers, plants and trees. Water resources are properly used to achieve environmental sustainability. The maximum daily water treatment capacity is about 2,000 tons. School Life sewage and laboratory washing wastewater are treated to maintain the normal flow of domestic sewage. Laboratory washing wastewater discharge pipelines and pipelines are regularly maintained. And in addition, implement the treatment and reuse of wastewater.

Energy Conservation in Government Agencies and Schools

Our school cooperated with the government to implement the "Government Agency and School Energy Conservation Action Plan" (plan period: 2020-2023) in phases. The plan took 2015 as the base period to increase the overall power consumption efficiency by 10% in 2023. As of 2020 the annual total electricity consumption had decreased by approximately 9.33% compared with 2015, and the CO2 reduction was 1,492,800kg [2,915,127 degrees (the total annual electricity consumption reduction as of 2019 based on 2015) * 0.509 (electricity emission factor in 2018: kg CO2/degree)].

CCU Vision Development

After developing and growing up for 30 years, our school has become a comprehensive university in the south and central region with research and teaching together, also owns the compatibility of technology and humanity. The Developing projects of the medium stage from 107 to 110 continuously follow the university motto” To innovate with earnestness; be virtuous with altruism!” And in the short stage, it aims to develop regional innovation, cross-disciplinary integration, global cooperation, and diverse features and strive for national items. With the developing projects, our school hopes to become a key domestic University with distinction in a short stage and achieve the goal of being the most influential one in Asia in a medium stage and finally reaching the top global university in a long stage.
To implement the School Affairs Development objective, set up the medium core concept by upholding the spirit of foresight, balance, share, and utilizing the notion of the new generation, new conception, and new orientation. The school itself also conforms to the societal developmental trend of artificial intelligence and π-shaped personnel. Moreover, our school devotes to cultivating new generation youth who can adapt to the changing times and who are concerned about society, helping them build up cross-disciplinary cogitation, creative thinking, self-learning, and the ability to solve problems and interact connecting with the community.
